I notice that too. One guess is I use several persistent variables to maintain the intermediate states. In order to increase the simulation speed, I need to use code generation. However, codegen does not support calling an object inside another object and changing its properties, thus persistent variables are the only choice.

I tried to clean the persistent variables during the simulation, however once Simulink starts to run, the variables cannot be deleted until Simulink stops running. Please let me know if you have any more questions or suggestions.
